Miyamoto Iori's character setting was by Kinoko Nasu and Hikaru Sakurai. Summer Musashi mentioning Iori in Grand Order's Las Vegas event was meant to be a tease for Samurai Remnant, which had already begun production by that time. He specializes in flame attacks, and erroneously believes it to be ninjutsu. Iori was taught Jewel Magecraft by the Crimson Codex. Water Stance: Dual wielding with extreme speed, allowing him to fight multiple enemies at once.Earth Stance: A one-sworded style used for defense and counterattacks. He switches between five sword stances based on Musashi's Book of Five Rings WP: Iori uses the same Niten Ichi-ryū WP sword style as Musashi, though Musashi died before he could pass down its secrets. Iori could stand a very minimal chance against a Servant if he fought them while being prepared to die, but there are factors to consider such as a Servant's possible fame boost. However at the end of the day he is a normal human, and so is completely overwhelmed by Servants. Abilities Īs Iori is Musashi's star pupil, he can easily fight other human enemies such as villagers or even squads of ninjas. He says that Iori is carrying on for Mikinosuke WP, and working as the chief retainer for the daimyo. In the Shimousa Singularity, the male Musashi talks about Iori as he is dying. In the Fate/Grand Order event "Las Vegas Championship Match", Summer Musashi pretended to be Iori. Role Fate/Samurai Remnant Other appearances Iori wishes to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, and so his reason for participating in the Waxing Moon Ritual is because he views it as an evil that must be stopped before innocents are hurt. It is because of these aspects that Musashi deems Iori "too kind", and saw how his teachings just brought Iori pain. Musashi praises Iori's mind, saying he has the flexibility to embrace the new, the humility to revere the old, and the gentleness to yearn for peace. He values the reason and good sense of his era. He never had as much success as a swordsman as Musashi did because he couldn't become inhumanely indifferent like Musashi. Personality Īccording to Musashi, Iori is talented but born in the wrong era. Iori in Fate/Samurai Remnant Introduction, illustrated by Mugetsu.
